poop

oh well, as an update, things didn't go so well with the response from my office crush. i got wind about halfway through the day that he'd confessed to a friend of mine (when confronted about my note) that he'd never actually been in a relationship or something to that effect. i had a bad feeling at that point. then, at the end of the day, he came over to my desk and asked if we could "talk in private." we went out to the balcony and he said that he'd gotten my note, but "unfortunately did not feel the same." he was incredibly sweet about it though and said that he was flattered and happy i'd given him the note (and that more people should do that.) i asked if things would be awkward between us now and he said no, but to not "beat him up."

*sigh* at least he was nice about it...

one good thing, though, this brought a nice little smile to my face. mmm, creamed chipped beef...
