as promised to Her -- a publically posted poem to Her, by me:
For Hera
08.24.05
Oh Hera, beautiful Queen of the Gods,
You have showed me Your kindness and beauty
And the passion You hold in your breast.
I now understand the actions that You took,
Your works to protect your marriage bed.
Hera Gamelia, You have been portrayed in ill-light
And I hope to instead make that light more bright and true.
Let us sit together under the willow tree
And string peacock feathers in our locks
For as I know You more, I can tell Your tale.
Oh Hera, thank you for your presence
Your continued assistance
And your unexpected affection.
Let us sit together and let me hear Your words,
For when I know You more, I will tell Your tale.
