A Week in the Life: Day One [Jan 17]

radiantbabySo, I have a few friends on my flist taking a pic a day for the year and, while I think that's cool, I doubt I'd be able to keep something like that up. Still, I like the idea of photo-blogging, especially now that I have a nifty new phone with a fairly decent camera, so I decided to do a 'Week in the Life' of my life for the next few days.
As I said, my camera isn't amazing, but I thought it might be a fun thing to do this week. The two pics are technically from Jan 17 (though it's almost 1:00 AM of the 18th as I type this -- it's been a long day). They are just random shots from my day (just two this time -- I hope to post at least one a day).
So, last night I had my first date with a nice guy called Toby and, in the middle of the night (2:00 AM?), we ended up at a local 24-hour 'Dunkin Donuts'. I wasn't super hungry, so I thought I'd just grab a 25-count box [the minimum size] of blueberry 'munchkins' [doughnut holes] and munch on some then and some more the next day. Well, I don't know if it was because we were there in the middle of the night, but they gave me 25 more free with my order! So, I ended up with this massive box of 50 munchkins! It was even pretty heavy! Anyway, I just thought that I had to take a pic for posterity. Needless to say, I couldn't eat them all myself. The ones that weren't eaten by me were shared amongst my co-workers at our TEAm meeting tonight.

justben relaxing and playing video games on his computer. It used to be a pretty common sight, but with our recent hectic schedules, it's so rare that a) we're even just home on an evening together (between socializing and multiple relationships) and b) we're home in a situation where we can just veg out and relax. Anyway, I thought I'd take a quick snap of him beside me. He probably didn't even notice. ;)
