okay, so i am home sick today...and bored, bored, bored....
so here you go, from davidmcd ...

Interpol
Air
New York Dolls
Terroristen
Beta Band
Amps
Built to Spill
Yellow Magic Orchestra
or

2) Have you ever had a song written about you?
Not that I am aware of, but I have had poetry written about me, does that count? Who knows, though, I have dated musicians, so maybe after we broke up...
3) What song makes you cry?
I was never a big fan of her or anything by "Perfect" by Alanis gets me every time. Or "Never Is A Promise" by Fiona Apple. Pretty much anything I relate to my father.
4) What song makes you happy?
I like happy-go-lucky pop for that -- the one song I gravitate towards to cheer me when I am depressed though is "Last Chance On The Stairway" by Duran.
5) What do you like to listen to before bed?
Depends on my mood or what new CD I've bought. Last listened to was the Cold Mountain soundtrack.
6) Name a song by Coal Chamber
I've heard of them, but I couldn't tell you what they sing. I don't listen to mainstream radio.
7) Who was/were your idol/s when you were younger?
Music idols? Most of Duran Duran...and maybe Bowie. When I was a teen, perhaps Poly Styrene (because she showed nerdy teen girls could rock!), Thurston Moore, Richard Hell, Les Claypol...
8) First album you ever bought?
The first album I ever bought with my own money was probably Tonight by Bowie when I was 12. Dad worked at Capitol when I was a kid, so there was always albums around. In fact, my favorite game when I was really young was "record races" -- I would stand up two albums on their sides and roll them to see who would win. "Okay, today we have News of the World by Queen and Greatest Hits of Otis Redding, who will be champion?" Dad hated that game, so did my behind.
