davidmcd and i went to brunch today and now i have figured it out. i had some of his biscuits and gravy and the gravy was "red eye gravy." i had forgotten what that actually was so i just looked it up on the web. i forgot that it was made with coffee. oops. i am allergic to coffee.
ah well...
