oooh, happy, happy! today in the mail i got the following:

* flaming lips -- fight test EP (featuring "thank you jack white" -- aforementioned here)
* sympathetic sounds of detroit (detroit garage rock comp produced and assembled by jack)
* white stripes "live at the coachella arts and music festival" dvd-boot a la ebay

i don't know what to listen to or watch first!

oh, and for those for you hanging on, here is the newest part of "harder to be a gentleman." its a bit graphic, violent, and potty-languaged, but oh well, you've been warned:

I got my fight test EP on saturday, and to be honest I wasnt *that* impressed with it, in fact the only song I really liked was the 'Thank you Jack white' one...

I love The Sympathetic Sounds album!! I keep meaning to find more of the Detroit Cobras but haven't yet. I love their song on there and Red Death at 6:14 is a great song!

Oh, and I wanna hear how the Coachella show was... I heard there was massive wind and Jack was pissy. :\

I'm just glad he was in a good mood for our show here. One of the last ones played someone said he had his back to the crowd almost the entire night. I would have been so pissed!

He was doing all these little crazy moves in between songs. I tried to get a picture of him when he was holding all his hair up in a ponytail but my boyfriend was holding the camera and I didn't get it from him in time. :(
