of course that is nothing new, still i just had to join, even if it means skipping a few lunches and dinners out for the time being.

at first i wasn't quite convinced with the whole "preferred seating" deal, especially with the venue that they are playing in atlanta being general admission. so, i dove in a bit further and found that with membership you get to go inside earlier and should, supposedly, get within the top 10% of "best seating" or somesuch.

i suppose i can't really deny that opportunity, though it does bite the wallet a bit. still, i think i did the same thing with my lunch money when i was a kid and joined their old official fan club. in fact, i think i have my fan club membership card from said disolved club hanging around somewhere...heh...

oh yes, and barmaid1 has agreed to accompany me to the event. yee!
