alright, so this movie is coming out either on or around christmas day and i am far from one to get out and see movies in the theatre much, but damn, i am actually getting excited about this.

of course, its mostly because of jack's small role in it, as well as his musical contributions to the film, who am i kidding? still, it does look like it could be good.

anyway, does anyone want to go see this with me when it comes out?

I would if I lived anywhere remotely close to you! :D I'm getting excited as well, even if his role is small. Still, the idea of seeing and hearing Jack sing on "the big screen" is going to take some getting used to.

Jack White = 1/2 of the blues/rock/punk duo, The White Stripes, along with his luscious ex-wife, Meg. Big songs include "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground", "Seven Nation Army" (which has gotten tons of airplay all year), and "Fell in Love with a Girl"... which... you can hear at this lovely link.

Ooh, you should! I mean, you do live in LA and all -- Jack may even be there! Did you see that thing about him playing at UCLA for a movie-oriented performance? I would so be there if I were out there...*whimper*...and to think I have almost moved to Venice a few times...

Why didn't you move to Venice? It's nice but there are a lot of drug addicts. But then again, there are a lot of drug addicts everywhere.
