part sweet georgia brown, part miles-davis-kind-of-blue, nicole is a bit of a jack-of-all-trades. she is yesterday's "tomorrow person," yet on her way to learning esperanto, "the language of the future." as a youth, her most subversive act was being in a neilsen family and choosing the most off the wall, obscure viewing choices just to throw things out of whack a bit and buck the system. it's the little things, yeah?
she's been known to write fiction about anything from rock gods to peas in a pod and always does so with a wink and a smile. she's a "radiant" one to some, often traveling from place to place to bear witness to the sonic beauty of a live performance or two. also, like fewer and fewer people these days, she collects vinyl with wild abandon, in the end preferring it to the cold mirrored CD and instead reveling the pleasure of holding that perfect slab on vinyl between her fingertips and listening to it in all its crackly-crack-crack glory.
mostly, she thinks its her mission to deliver the underground of music to the people treading water in the mainstream above. and she will do this. you'll see.
