I just love Martha Jones! She will always be one of my favorite New Who characters. I feel like I was able to connect her with her in a way that I didn't with Rose, Amy or Donna which isn't to same I didn't like them (well, I didn't like Rose) but Martha just spoke to me the best.

And I too feel she was done a disservice canon wise. Still, regardless of that, I think she came out the best of RTD's companions.
