While I was definitely hacked off by how self indulgent Rusty had become over Ten and by the way he spoilt Ten as the Doctor, I can't help still loving him - which is entirely down to David T's manful attempts to make the character less of a bastard than Rusty wanted him to be... Fortunately, though, Matt Smith proved equally as good in the role, despite not being a massive fanboy.
Personally I love Three, audio!Six, Eight, Nine, Ten and Eleven - they all have aspects that particuarly appeal to me.
I always used to say my favourite book is The Lord of the Rings, but I'm not sure I should continue making that claim - it's been a few years since I last re-read it! Mind you, it's certainly my most read book - something like 25 times in 26 years (one year I read it three times over the space of nine months!)
