Friends Cut

I just did a massive overhaul of my friend's list and cut a big chunk of people. It was definitely nothing personal, I'm just trying to streamline more stuff in my life these days.

I mostly cut people that I hadn't spoken with in ages, but if I cut you and you still want to be on my friends list (I know I'm bad a lurking myself), definitely give me a heads up on the comments.

I might do some more cuts in the coming weeks. We'll see. As I said, I'm just trying to cut some of the excess from my life.

Yeah, I just realized there was a big chunk of people and communities that I was a) just skimming and b) barely even knew who they were anymore (since I had added them so very long ago). I thought it would make reading LJ much easier if I just cut things down a bit.

FWIW, I still read you and want you on my friends list, so I have no intention of cutting you. :)

Thanks for keeping me. I've also reactivated my old kyrene LJ if feel like adding that too.

I don't anticipate I'm going to be as chatty as I used to be on there, but probably will post a few times a week to once a day. I mostly save the single lined commentaries for Twitter/Facebook/Tumblr, which is useful for that.

It's like getting a bit of a trim to keep your haircut looking great. And now that I have typed this analogy, I realize that it doesn't totally work. But yeah. Glad to still be here! ;D
