Ben's 28th Birthday Dinner

It's Leo season coming up and with that we have justben's 28th birthday. I asked him what he would like to do for his birthday and we decided on having a dinner out with friends.

One of his favorite restaurants is Thai Chili (www.thaichilicuisine.com) over at Briarcliff and Lavista as this is where he has chosen to have his birthday dinner. The date that we have set is Sunday, July 31st and it will probably be at about 6:00 PM.

If you are interested in attending, please fill out the poll below and I will get an evite out to you. We didn't get a chance to anything for him last year, so we would love to have you this year.

Oh, and gifts are certainly not required, but appreciated -- I think for a social soul like justben, just spending his birthday with friends is the best gift you can give.

EDIT: I changed the date to the 31st from the 30th. I had almost forgotten about jescot's baby shower that day. More reason to get new batteries for my palm pilot...

Isn't Thai Chili amazing? I just hooked Ben on it recently. I have been going there faithfully for about 8 years myself and I kept telling him about it, but he was nervous because he'd never had Thai food. I finally coaxed him into going there and now he loves it! His office used to be around the corner, so he started going a few times a month. *giggle*

P.S. I was about to draw up the evite and realized that we are going to a friend's baby shower on the 30th, so I changed it to the next day -- the 31st. Is that still okay for you? I am going to send you an evite either way. :)

It's okay -- the baby shower is the 30th (Saturday) and Ben's birthday is the 31st (Sunday). We had planned it for the 30th as Ben said that night was free, but when I was setting up the evite, I saw that I had RSVP'd for the baby shower that same day, so there was a scheduling conflict. I went ahead and moved the date to the 31st then instead. Make sense now?

Steering Meeting

The PA steering comm has a meeting at 6pm on the 31st but I can try to swing by after. Maybe we can try to move the meeting up a little too, I'll see.

Ooops - I just remembered something but don't see a way to change my answer.

I answered "maybe" and was going to say that I'd like to see both of you and the rest of the folks there, but just didn't know if I'd be able as I've been far too busy of late anyway. Then, after submitting the "maybe" response, I remembered that I am busy.

We are removing the last of our stuff from our temple space on Sunday. The new owners want us out by the 31st, which of course is Sunday. I'll be working with that, and we're storing a lot of it in my basement since I have the largest basement. I'm sure afterwards we'll go eat, per usual.
